Humble beginning : Webaccess redirect in a multiserver env

Fixed a small issue. Hacked up small diagram with OO Draw.

Terms :

  • HomeServer : refers to the server where the user has his data/collections.

So :

User can log into any server through webaccess and provides his credentials.

In webaccess,Β  get the homeserver information from the master server. This is because user provisioning can be done only in the master server (design restrictions). If the user doesn’t have a ‘HomeServer’ master will take care of the provisioning (based on whatever provisioning scheme we use.). The Master will return HomeServer information. Connect to user’s homeserver.Β  Redirect all the APIs to user’s homeserver.

More to follow πŸ˜‰

  1. @bug : yeah dude .. but i dont want to spend my time maintaining too many online stuff. and u shud hav noticed that my blog says ‘life and code’ .. :D. when i tag these posts as ‘ifolder’ it goes to

  2. A guy who subscribes your blog for gcc fun, web access redirects etc will be least interested to know how your day was, what you had for breakfast or your thoughts about the current situation of the world πŸ˜› Putting relevant tech stuffs at one place would make it an interesting read for other geeks like you.

    Your blog title should have been “life IS code” πŸ˜›

  3. @bug : /me agrees. subscription : u cud just get the ‘tech’ feed.
    Anyway .. i’ll probably come up with some thing else …. or do less life and more code πŸ˜‰

  4. @bug : yeah … ppl cud know abt me .. not just wat i write .. πŸ˜€ .. many hackerz blogs are like this .. mix of life and code. only corporate blogs are techy and hav no fun in it.. i dont want to be one of those corporate black suit boring , routine freak.

    @ebb : thanks dude πŸ™‚
