Well selva was trying to install SUSE 10.0 on his friend’s computer. It is a AMD 64 bit proc with K8S asus motherboard. The installation started and went well. But when he tried to reboot the computer he couldn’t. The error said that it coudnt see the partitions. So he calls me we were trying to fix it. Finally selva finds that the error has something to do with MKINITRD script. We look in to the script and included our own code which we found out that it wasn’t necessary. Finally we found that the necessary drivers were not included in the INITRD. We create a initrd with the drivers and install it. And the system is up and running!
