Life :

Bought a PS3 (“Cameron”) yesterday night around 1930 IST.

Life :

Took time-off from office on friday to meet a buddy of mine. Had pretty good conversation (been missing this for a while). Then the crazy weekend starts. Lot of coffee .. meeting buddies .. then some fukas … nice food … going around … shopping ( yeah bought a Adidas ) …. swiped cards wherever possible ..

First time went to a club. hmmm .. it was a weird experience .. not a big fan of hip hop. switched to rock lounge .. felt like i was in a tasting spree .. hehe … it was fun . late night dinners ..

Thanks to swenny for my `survival kit`. Delivered F-16s to him.

Planning for a trip sometime in feb (hope this one materialises and not very expensive .. )

+ Met bipin ! nice guy … passionate abt wat he does. good to meet ppl like this. (there are lot of zombies out there !! ;-/ )

+ Evolution 2.12 release . So srini decided to to take the team for a few minutes out to a nearby coffee shop ! Yay!!!

+ Ideas … as usual r there in my head. Planning to test them out during weekends. And thanks to andre for the words ‘ Dont put your 100% in a single project’

+ Have some good fixes to evolution. Work on more patches and get some good stuff into evolution before itz too late ..

Hmm .. I’ve been wondering .. whatz going on with my life !!!!

After moving to GNOME Evolution, i think i’ve been busy with code and a little bit of life. Well bad that i’m looking only at evolution and have no time to look at my other pet projects (Banter / Banshee) and ideas (Version FS) .

My reading has gone down. I’m still with ‘Dreaming in Code‘ . I think i have to start the book from page 1 again.

Picked up a new hobby (little addictive) : Rubick’s Cube ! Very interesting. It actually saved me from ‘brain death’. I picked it up and started solving it ( i’m learning petrus method) and once again i experienced how it feels to ‘solve’ something. It brought back some old memories of code. (Dont want to live in past). I think sometimes when u get hurt .. it takes sometime to get over it. But the bad thing is that you loose a lot of opportunity during that recovery period.

Lately have been thinking a lot about ‘life’ ( the concept ) and existential questions ( i think everybody goes through these struggles ). But now i stopped wasting my precious brain cycles (processor cycles) on this. Time to get back to face reality, let go of your haunting past (itz kinda difficult .. isn’t it ? ) and enjoy every second of this wonderful event called life !

My social life is improving ( i guess i can say that .. ) Been going to game parlors, movies and restaurants. Meet my brother weekly. Catch up on some football (EPL – ManU) . Watch F1 ( missed a couple of tracks )

Bought some new games for PSP. Splinter Cell – Essentials. Awesome .. enjoying every moment of it.

Getting enough sleep these days … Ah .. s. .. i’m going to gym these days .. good to see a thought (idea) come to life after 2 years !!

Gonna meet some friends this week. (Taking time-off from office .. yep .. can u believe that .. itz tru ! ) and Dad will be here next next friday.

• Picking up “Faster : The acceleration of just about everything” (FSTR by JMS GLCK)
• Messed up my sleep cycle .. Trying to bring it under control (4hr + 30 mins).
• Back on normal caffeine levels (my new coffee mug wont fit in the vending machine ) .
• Thinking abt moving to new place (need more space and more bandwidth !!).

Yes !! i moved back to my old bunker. It has a bed, a cupboard, a head and a TV. Need to get a internet connection (so called broadband) . Happy to move back. And thanks for all who helped me!!

• Yep !! Finished the game on ‘Normal’ difficulty level. Now started with ‘Hard’ for the final round. Enjoyed playing the game lot .. But little disappointed that the game got over very fast !! They should have made it little longer.
• Going home this weekend .. ITz my bro’s B-Day .. Brought a Camera for him !! hmmm .. should i give it or keep it (keep it!! keep it!! keep it!! keep it!!)  .. hehee !
• Work is going good. pace has gone down .. but i think i fully recovered from chicken pox .. But i still find it difficult to work more than 10 hrs .. which used to be normal .. lot of interesting things are happening with iFolder.
• Looks like ‘Heros’ and ‘I,Video Game’ are the two shows that make me come home earlier.
• TV is making me weird .. I actually got emotional in one of discovery’s some kinda ‘ishould have been dead’ show !! crap !! what are they doing to me ??? ??? aaaaaahhh !!!
• Well … one of my principles is ‘Light and Mobile’ .. I’m looking for a new place to stay .. so lemme know if you know any .. TIA.
• Realized that my learning factor has gone down. I hate to do the same things again and again .. So planning to allot time and learn something new ..
• Have some stupid ideas !! so they will be my weekend fun projects!
• Lately i’m getting very interested in ‘Intelligent Design vs Evolution’ and ‘God’ questions. Been listening and reading about that stuff .. heehe .. interesting!

I’m back at office and hacking on iFolders. But I get really exhausted after a few mins of hacking. Few patches made me feel good
I think it’ll be a week before i get back to my 100%.

Yep! /me had a malfunction on Feb 11. Varicella-zoster_virus infiltrated my primary defense barriers. Condition is Code Named ‘ChickenPox’. I was quarantined till my immune system took control. Phew!! The first 3 days i couldnt do anything form ore than 20 minutes.

I was on sick leave throughout .. Looks like i missed lot of fun @ work.

I managed to finish ‘ A short history of nearly everything ‘ Eventhough I believe in  Intelligent Design .. I enjoyed reading the book.

Watched the new series ‘Heros‘ .. Loved it.

Now i’m back online ..

Anybody out there who knows how i can use CAIRO rendering engine for
slideshow, please provide some pointers
